The name Line State
Antiques is in recognition of Maryland's heritage as having been dubbed
"The Old Line State" during the Civil War. Living within one mile of one
of the original stone markers separating North from South at the Mason Dixon
Line between Maryland and Pennsylvania provides us with a unique buying opportunity. We are able to scour not just Maryland
but Pennsylvania, New York, and surrounding states where some of America's
unusual finds in pristine and original condition can still be had at affordable
prices.
With over three decades of experience acquiring and researching thousands of antique and
collectible items, we have the knowledge and expertise that you, the customer, can feel
confident in and trust. One of our members has a Master of Fine Arts degree as well as a
Minor in Art History, and so, we always endeavor to maintain an inventory that includes the finest examples of painting,
printing, and decorative arts possible. Our clients have come to rely on that knowledge for reliable
representation and good investment quality. Our furniture, objects d'art, and the entire general line
of antiques and collectibles offered is researched and priced at an affordable cost.
